Some suggestions on this site — “Recommended for you”, “Because you viewed”, the first products of a collection — can follow what you have browsed here. They never change a price, never hide a product, and never show anything we do not sell in your country.
What is kept, and where
- In your browser only. A short history of what you did on this site: products and collections you looked at, reviews or questions you opened, what went into and out of your cart, and searches we understood as a topic. Each is a short code and a time — never your name, email, address, order number or anything you typed.
- Sent with your page requests. A compact copy of that history, in a cookie called
mc_prof, so the page can be arranged for you before it reaches you. We read it to choose suggestions and do not store it. - Never sent. The full history, your identity, or anything from other websites.
How long
Anything older than 90 days is forgotten, and the cookie expires 90 days after your last visit.
Who never gets personalised suggestions
Anyone who switched them off here, any browser set to send “Global Privacy Control”, and search engines. They see the site exactly as we composed it.
